Ohio is a apparently a UFO “hot spot”

In a memorable scene from Steven Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind, an electrical lineman played by Richard Dreyfuss sees a number of bizarre lights, unidentified flyings objects, over Muncie, Indiana. The man is shaken by the experience, and he is desperate in his search for answers.

If only his search had taken him to neighboring Ohio, he might have found what he was looking for…

You see, according to Dale Harder of the Cleveland Ufology Project, Northeast Ohio has been a “hot spot” for UFO sightings since the 1950s. Apparently, data exists to support Harder’s claim. The Mutual UFO Network, more commonly known as MUFON, ranks Ohio in the top five for UFO reports.

UFO videographers believe NE Ohio is hot zone for sightings

CLEVELAND – Whether you believe UFOs are a product of a wild imagination or a real phenomenon, some local UFO videographers believe Northeast Ohio is a hot zone for UFO sightings. Dale Harder with the Cleveland Ufology Project, one of the worlds oldest UFO organizations established in 1952, said the numbers back-up a large number of sightings in the greater Cleveland area.
