Overview:
Not far from Burnside, Kentucky is Keno, a lonely settlement on the edge of the Daniel Boone National Forest. The only way in or out of Keno is across the Keno Bridge, a narrow span of concrete and steel that lords over the valley below.
For decades, those who live in Keno have told tales of the Keno Monster, an enormous ape-like creature that is said to roam the valley beneath the Keno Bridge. Some claim to have heard the creature’s vocalizations. Others claim to have seen the creature lumbering along the railway on the valley floor. All things considered, many of the old-timers who live in Keno will not step foot beneath the Keno Bridge after dark.
Those who seek an audience with the Keno Monster would be best served to use the gravel road just south of the Keno Bridge, which will take them into the valley below. Just remember to stay off the railway!
